Fund Regulatory Assistant

Basic Purpose:
Provide support for the production and filing of various documents, including prospectuses, SAIs and proxy statements, with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Perform general administrative duties.

Primary Responsibilities:
Create and edit documents using MS Word based proprietary software programs
Convert documents to html format and make electronic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission using an EDGAR filing software application 
Provide administrative support to assigned Fund Regulatory Specialists
Store and index electronic documents and files
General office responsibilities including filing, photocopying and scanning
Liaise with other departments and outside service providers
Other tasks and special projects as needed

Job Requirements:
Certificate or Associates degree preferred and/or 1 - 3 years comparable office experience
Knowledge of MS Word including the ability to edit and re-format documents using advanced MS Word functions and a working knowledge of Excel
Familiarity with Adobe Software a plus
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and proofreading skills
Flexibility to handle heavy workload and occasional overtime hours
Good communication skills and pleasant manner
Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must be a team player and demonstrate high professional standards
